Get The Picture

Fridae reviews six digital cameras ideal for the Fashion Diva, Digital Fanatic and Global Traveller; as well as three printer options.

I've been around the block in trying to find the perfect digital camera. Just like many of you, I have read the brochures, been to the tech fairs, spoken to all the sales people, and gotten even more confused.

The choices are endless. And it is time to get real and strip the ad campaigns bare-naked and take it back to basics. At the end of the day, do the products serve our needs? What are our needs? Do they understand who we are? How deep are our pockets? Ok well, maybe the last one is less about self-awareness than pure practicality, but value is certainly a huge factor in our selections.

Let's make its easy. We know ourselves so let's have our pick of the crop. Cameras to suit who were are, our needs and budgets. Also known as, cameras for the Fashion Diva (Canon i5/ Konica Minolta DiMage XG), the Digital Fanatic (Canon G6/ Nikon 8400) and the Global Traveller (Nikon Coolpix 4800/ Sony DSC-P100). We also look at the Epson R310, Canon Selphy CP 500 and HP Photosmart 375.
