You never looked at toys, monsters and fish the same way again
after you watched Pixar's Toy Story, Monsters Inc
and Finding Nemo respectively. Now, Pixar the animation
team is back to change the way you look at superheroes.
This ingenious cartoon revolves around a family of superheroes,
who have been forced to retire and lead normal lives after some
very bad lawsuits.
Daddy used to be Mr Incredible, but now he's a middle-aged insurance
agent with a spare tyre. Mommy was once Elastigirl, but now she's
a busy housewife raising son Dash — who isn't called Dash
for nothing — and daughter Violet, who has the power of invisibility,
as well as baby Jack Jack.
But something draws them out of retirement and into the superhero
life again, fighting evil monsters with metal tentacles and other
baaad people...
Pixar's animation is one heck of a technical achievement, taking
you into a gorgeous universe that'll keep your eyes permanently
popped. But it is the team's unerring ability to tell a story that's
clever, funny and touching all at once that keeps your heart and
mind engaged.
