The Longest Yard

Director: Peter Segal

Starring: Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, James Cromwell, Nelly, William Fichtner, Burt Reynolds

Screening: 2005-09-06

Even worse than The Cave is Adam Sandler's new movie The
Longest Yard
. We seriously wanna know — how does Adam
Sandler get one acting job after another? He's a lousy actor, only
vaguely funny and not even remotely attractive.

In this comedy filled with homophobic, sexist and ageist jokes,
Adam plays an ex-football player who is sick of his life and decides
to destroy his mistresses car. When he ends up in prison, the football-loving
warden (James Cromwell) forces him to start a football team so that
they can organize a game between the guard and the convicts.

All manner of hilarity ensues. As this is a prison comedy, you
can expect jokes about sodomy, transvestites and the shower room.
Seriously boys, this is one prison movie that won't do anything
for your recurring fantasies of being "trapped in a prison cell
with 10 horny men?"
