Prepare to puke — Jigsaw the psychopath is back. In the first
terrific Saw movie, two men are chained down and instructed
by Jigsaw to torture each other — or else, they die. (No,
gay boys, this isn't a new form of S&M foreplay? Written and directed
by James Wan, a Malaysian, the film was a surprise box-office hit
in 2004.

So, of course, there had to be a sequel?Though the director has
changed (it's helmed by relative newcomer Darren Lynn Bousman),
the gore level hasn't dropped. This time round, Jigsaw has kidnapped
eight people and exposed them to sarin gas in a house. If they want
to live, they must look for the hidden syringes containing the antidote.
Each of these syringes are placed inside a bizarre booby-trap that
only a sicko like Jigsaw can dream of.

Like the first movie, Saw 2 is as unnervingly gory and
gruesome. With its big climactic twist, you can also expect Saw
3, Saw 4, Saw 5?The nightmare continues.
