It is so true that anti-gay laws lead to higher HIV rates. Just look at countries like New Zealand that decriminalised gay sex in the mid-1980s - overall far lower rates of transmission since then. There's no stigma to being gay, and therefore education can get through and people come forward for testing more readily. I can ask my GP for an HIV test and it's just a simple blood test. No issues. No questions. No problem. Come on Asia - you're 30 years behind the times!

"Well done!" to the 5,000 enlightened people who signed the petition and open letter. Unfortunately Yaacob Ibrahim's "solution" is still a regrettable form of censorship. While it is commendable that two of the three titles were saved from pulping, their location in the adult section will ensure that they exist in a limbo of invisibility, just like LGBT communities in Singapore ...

And so says the The Society for Truth and Light. What an insane and lunatic name. Tell them to perform a basic miracle like turning water into wine. Can they also walk on the sea? Do they stone women , or are they against Leviticus, their anti-gay prophet? I, the Society for Law and Divine Justice, claim that 3 in every 4 of that group are insane, and I have proof. Dare to go to psychiatrist, and it shall be certified. If I am wrong, you shall be taken by the light of God almighty into heaven the following day. What say you?

Of course it is unconstitutional. But, the argument will still be, as in the past, "we need to keep it for respect of Singapore's traditions and other religions". Sometime, they'll eventually need to understand a constitution is not "symbolic", but it is the foundation law of a society, one that has to be just and treat all citizens equally, granting them equal rights, opportunities and so on, regardless of differences. It is not a political joke or propaganda to appease certain sectors with high political influence. It is not a tool.

This is kind of unexpected, though still limited to Saitama prefecture, but that's how it all begins right? I have to say: congrats. Though lots of work is needed to change the mentalities within families and the expected roles in society, which are overwhelming. Even women still face a lot of discrimination and barriers in terms of labour and merit recognition, though progressively it's changing.

Bullying is basic character of some people, usually straight. The Bullying action is not only about sexuality but also about other things. I often Heard teachers made bullying to other religions for years. about one week ago, I heard people made bullying to Japanese Culture and to make Us to be anti-Japan, here in place I am living. I also Heard bullying and libels to Hate American. There is no Law for bullying action But I can make conclusion what community to make bullying because I saw the same community who made bullying, I can not tell you hear at all. But i think that many people found them. But I can see those who made bullying were people who tell Us about Heaven/kindness/Sin/Hollybook but Afraid of going to Beautiful heaven quickly. Yes, This is deception indeed

If you think that you like Law made by British, Then British should reveal another Law to protect LGBT and for equal marriage. British should released new section for Protecting LGBT and for equal marriage. We will no need local law makers because they can not make law actually. We better to put all British in legislation body. Why we should pay for people who can not make Law? It is very bad behavior of law makers that always shaking hand from inability without punishment. What is Law for Law makers? How many section are available? Can you show to public all of Law sections? If all sections are enough, then we will no need law maker anymore. Indeed, we all LGBT need International Law makers/courts and army in all countries to protect LGBT and for equal marriage Just replace all local law makers by British Law makers. Why we let British law makers went back to British? who made this happened? British should be in your countries to make new Laws/ sections So, easy then. Because we do not believe in local law makers anymore.

gay should not always give excuse and permit to that stuborn. If gay always give excuse, then they will laugh at you. And Therapist will regard you as sick. so, it is very important to arrest Library board crew and chief executive send them to jail to punish for minimum 15 years old and fine for minimum US$ 69000000. no reason should be acceptable. Once gay very weak, they will be immun from Law and they will laugh at you at behind. then by running time, they will not only discriminate and hate gay, but also they will make discrimination and hate to other straight. So, you gay should not let them to Insult you because they will laugh at you at behind. they will recognize your weakness and will use that to play you. this is betrayal . They have no thankful. so, you gay should not give them excuse by any reasons or deal, because they will not give you excuse as well. you should know about their trick of deception. you should learn on history of other countries. Just put back to children room all gay books and just pulp all religion books because Religion books are harmful for children and adult. There should be no place for all religion books. This is the deal. Gay/ LGBT should be Immun from Law by any reasons to avoid deceptions.

Everybody, Every nation should take anti-virus for preventive and to reduce risk because those who do not want to take the anti virus, those who spread virus and should responsible on their actions. - All people should take anti-HIV treatment for preventive because we do not know or under consciousness of people who spread HIV and because gay just victim in similar way of hate addressed to gay - gay you see evident that people always try to attack you by any reasons/ways. some gay perhaps in safe situation but Remember that by increasing population , shadow of such attack will arrive to you. - You should not blame British for law 377 because you know on how to make law. - you must also know that Ghost/Evils are hiding - British probably get threatening from some people that hiding that is trick of Evil. - In praying Room / House of God / Baitullah that quite and Holly, Evil feel boring and need entertainment by creating War, Riots everywhere, Libel, and lie that make them very happy and laugh while they preach about love and make deception. That why War will always happened/never ending to everywhere. - They want to be called The greatest, no insulting, The latest, The only One, The Number one, The Holly One, The Messenger, The Truth. etc - If Evil look like dirty and unholly, than none will follow Evil - People who are Innocent will be easy to get such deception and they do not know who the truth is. - So, you gay also should identify who was behind British because British also probably get the same deception - it could be by money, wealth, Gold, etc. - Now gay you, try to improve yourself: how if you do not know? - just trust yourself. - Try to be holly and find fun substitution because Your Predators will always shadow you sooner or later - I had been no sex for years, and I am just fine. - Learn on war too because Religion Born by war. - You Gay should not be very weak and should know how to be strong

Kudos to these brave judges and locals. The higher office leaders can learn a thing or two about courage and responsibility lesson here. Biggest joke is that fact that everyone outside can see the issue here is actually the so-called local leaders who are not suitable to do their jobs. Hope the nation and the confusing Ministries in charge quickly do some of their 'well known campaigns' to educate and nurture next generation of world class leaders soon or risk being governed by foreign talented leaders in no time.

It's little consolation that the Minister of Communications and Information is attempting to do a PR correction here. The rest of the world would wonder how capable is this nation's ministries when their Ministry of Communications and Information don't seem to know how to act as 1st World standard of communicating and promoting democracy nor understanding what it means to ensure the state run libraries provide unbiased knowledge and information. Best to do more campaigns in educating the tiny red dotters how to view LGBT and minorities. Such a stab on human rights and failure to be educated on the highest office to do proper governance for progress and maturing their citizens.

1. Open Relationships: It’s a one-foot-in and a one-foot-out situation. People who are in open relationships must know that everything goes. If it’s love, you don’t need a disclaimer, make it a close relationship. 2. Neediness: Absolutely no-no unless it’s a sugar daddy kinda relationship. 3. Arguing: A pinch is enough but always make it up with hot sex. 4. Being With Someone For Comfort: Yeah, baby! Everyone needs it once in awhile. Just don’t overdo it. If money and material possession is comforting, then it’s another one of those sugar daddy kinda relationship. Nothing wrong about as long as both parties agree to the terms. 5. Going To The Club Together: No, no, no, nope! It’s like going to massages together. Unless both parties agree that one party is allowed to have too much fun; it’s best to avoid doing this altogether. Misery loves company. Ecstasy loves more company - more the merrier. 6. Putting Your Relationship Status On FB: Unless it’s a website for F**kBuddy, then don’t do it. It’s like staking a claim to a human being. We know you’re in the relationship so don’t push it on us who are still looking. It’s also drama mama to have your domestic news in my timeline. But do post some raunchy pics or vids of you both or him with another guy. 7. Not Allowing Your Boyfriend To Go Out With Friends: This is not the Dark Ages. Slavery is not nice. Unless it’s a BDSM, treat your guy with love and respect. Vice versa. Although it is puzzling whenever guys who are in a relationship kept sending me messages wanting to be my ‘friend’ or stating that they’re looking for friends only. Harlow? By sending me messages, it gave me a perception that all is not rosy with the bf. So stopped making new friends at dating websites and treasure your existing ones.

A good and interesting article to remind us some dos and don'ts in a relationship. Excitement and thrills are always at the initial stage, honeymoon period tend to be the sweetest but it will move on to another stage, when both parties will tend to understand and see each other in reality, many couples broke off after seeing their "real" partners while others would fade off their feelings and started to venture out for a better somebody. I believe a relationship has to be cultivated over time, couples must open up to discuss matters and find ways to compromise differences. When matters are opened up for discussion, both parties mustnt impose his views and beliefs on his partner, but with respect and adopt an open mind. I dun think there are many matters that are so traumatic and unsolvable, and need to call off a relationship! It is not an escapism and excuse giving session. When two persons are committed, both of them should work hand in hand to tackle issues and find ways which can strengthen their relationship as they move along. There are priorities to set and aim, regular review of these priorities would provide useful feedback and minimise unhappiness as well as misunderstanding. I believe couples who can communicate and share issues together, will have a happier and longer lasting relationship. We have to do our best if we choose to be in a relationship.

1.Open Relationship...Yuk..The world is mistaken in thinking that monogamy is a moral good. You can decide, by an act of will, to be monogamous to your partner. That does not mean the desire for sex with others is no longer there. You can make the denial of that desire as the foundation of your relationship, as in, if we love each other enough, we will control ourselves. But what kind of love is it anyway if you need to cage each other’s sexual energy? Do you really think caging each other will make you love each other more?. I dont deny its bored eating the same noodles everyday, but who ask you to eat everyday?hardly for me to believe a successful long lasting relationship in between without eat other meal than Noodles.lol Everyone has their personal understanding of "relationship", "love", and what it takes to build a successful relationship. If 2 people get together who believe in the same things, that's called compatibility .If you haven't talked about it, then you're not in a relationship. Be honest with each other, talk things out, communicate your wants, desires and expectations.

I had an extreme experience with Number 4; my mother warned me that this fellow I was once with probably didn't love me as much as it seemed - indeed, he probably THOUGHT he loved me, but only needed someone to cling to and depend on. "Unless you are a lifeguard, if you try to save a drowning man he may instead pull you down with him". We didn't pool our resources, but he did end up borrowing from me to get things he wanted now rather than save up. At first he felt guilty about it, but eventually it became habit and when I told him point-blank that if we hoped to achieve any of the dreams we wanted (like our own house) we had to start being prudent, he turned around and accused me of being calculative and became very defensive. More than once I found evidence of him cheating, and I'm the kind of guy who can swallow it if you own up and try to work it out with me - go for a blood test and all. Unfortunately, he insisted he didn't do anything, and instead called me out for looking for a reason to breakup. At some point I got fed up and did - he was crying his eyes out and all that but suddenly he just snapped out of it and called me all sorts of things, and being very self-righteous about his point of view. Seeing him like that, it was as if a spell on me had been broken - I suddenly saw what this was all REALLY about.

Our relationship lasted nearly 37 years, and would have lasted longer had cancer not got in the way. I won't say it was all plain sailing, but the secret of a relationship is give and take. Sometimes you have to give more than you take. He packed up work and I supported him financially during that time. When his pension came through he wanted nothing but the best for us. Then along came cancer. I would have given up work to care for him if I had to. In his last months, as his condition worsened, I was contemplating asking for compassionate leave at work. He died a week after we finally got married. He hung on long enough for that. That's what our relationship was about, and more.

re (2) Isn't a relationship to some degree, all about two people having some sort of need for each other? Like in that saying 'fall for someone you cannot live without', like Romeo and Juliet in the straight world. It doesn't mean having a partner to solve all your problems or issues, and lean totally on them, but hell if he has troubles in his heart, then surely be compassionate, be supportive and understanding and consider why, and give more re-assurance. It's not hard to have little other than heart wrenching experiences in the gay world, speaking from experience, especially when the heart runs deep, I know it too well, 45 and still not had an LTR. But then of course I've found that in most cases guys seeking guys are only wanting something shiny, off the showroom floor, not someone they have to give a little TLC to. If I had a guy who was showing insecurity due to issues, then I'd pull out all stops to love him and nurture him. It's far nicer when you see what your love has become. But the thing is to find a guy who can accept being loved truly madly deeply, as in the words of Savage Garden. As two of the same sex, we should have the advantage of a deeper understanding, but that seldom seems to be, alas.

I agree with most items, some are a little hard to swallow. The last one is a trust issue, but if I do not want him to ever see what I write, then what am I writing ? Good luck to all who venture into close personal relationships. Openness and honesty is what keeps us together. Married to the same man for 8 1/2 years. John.
