Toronto’s PinkDot TO is sold out, with organiser Asian Community AIDS Services directing would-be guests to a waitlist ahead of its 29 October gathering for queer and trans Asian communities.

The advertised lineup includes drag king Yuen Young, singer-songwriter SEHO and drag performer Minhi Wang. Guests are invited to wear pink. ACAS presents the evening as a celebration for East and Southeast Asian communities, their families and allies, and says the event responds to their underrepresentation in mainstream queer spaces.

PinkDot TO is scheduled for 6pm to 10pm at Cecil Community Centre, 58 Cecil Street. All times are Toronto local time.

ACAS says walk-ins cannot be accommodated. Registered guests must show their Eventbrite QR code on arrival. Anyone hoping for a place should check the organiser’s current notice and ticket page; joining the waitlist does not guarantee admission.
