Creep

Director: Christopher Smith

Starring: Franka Potente, Sean Harris, Vas Blackwood, Jeremy Sheffield, Ken Campbell

Screening: 2005-04-12

Anyone who takes the MRT must have caught the uncreepy trailer
for Creep, the uncreepy British horror film that's set
in the actually-creepy London subway.

Franka Potente (Run, Lola, Run and The Bourne Supremacy),
usually a fabulous actress, disappoints with her by-the-numbers
performance as a drunk party girl who falls asleep in a London underground
station and misses the last night train.

When she wakes up, she finds herself being chased by a strange
maniac who shrieks in a rat-like sound.

The film starts out well but it becomes increasingly gory, violent
and illogical. Strictly for fans of C-grade slasher films.
