Los Angeles-based Asian star Van Darkholme who is visiting Asia for the first time will be available for a dinner date with the highest bidder.

The sexy and charming hunk will be auctioned on eBay from now till 3 August. 100% of the proceeds of the "Dinner with Van" auction will go to Action for AIDS (Singapore) and other GLBT community development programs.

Action for Aids (AfA), Singapore's only HIV/AIDS advocacy group will relaunch its safe sex education programme, including outreach, counselling and support services targeting MSM in Singapore this year.

Organisers of Nation02, where Van is a special guest, will also donate a portion of the proceeds of the party to AfA, which has received more than S$10,000 through Fridae's events last year.

Van is proud to be able to do his part for the community: "If you make more money than god, I think it's time to acknowledge your good karma. Not only will the proceeds be used to help out the community, you'll get to enjoy a sit down dinner with me and who knows� perhaps the beginning of a great friendship."

To ensure that the pair will not be mobbed by Van's zealous fans, the dinner will be at the winning bidder's own arrangement, from 7pm on 9 August. All bids will be kept anonymous and confidential.
